Therapy Style
Harmony Healing offers a variety of counseling, assessment and consultation services. Below is a list of the mental health and forensic services offered to adults and children.
Harmony Healing understands that taking steps to reach out to someone for help is scary and requires a tremendous amount of courage. It is important that you have some insight into what you can expect getting started. In the first few sessions you and your therapist will exchange information in order to clarify the problems that are needing to be addressed. Through this process, you and your therapist will identify goals and specific strategies to help you achieve those goals and resolve problems.
Your therapist will use a wide range of therapeutic techniques; so your feedback is an important part of the treatment process. We offer counseling for children, adolescents, and adults.
Trauma-Informed Therapy
As a trauma-informed therapist, l use evidenced-based interventions such as trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapies (TF-CBT) to help you to begin the healing process.
These interventions can help to increase feelings of safety and rebuild trust and security with your environment.
